Katherine Scott currently serves as Director of Leasing for Parkside Realty, working alongside Bob Wislow and Camille Julmy, longtime colleagues and the founders of US Equities Realty LLC, where they worked together for more than twenty years in Chicago.
Scott was responsible for the overall direction of US Equities Realty’s asset, management group from 1992-2014. She directed all Landlord services for the firm’s portfolio, which included leasing, property and facility management, operations and financial services. Under her leadership, the portfolio grew from 4 million SF to 40 million SF. In 2014, US Equities Realty merged with CBRE, and she became Senior Managing Director for the Chicago Region and its diverse, 60 million SF managed portfolio.
Katie became widely known for successfully repositioning major real estate assets through creative marketing, leasing and cost controls. Her expertise includes lease, sales and financial transactions for office, retail, and mixed-use properties; corporate and government facilities; multi-family and student housing developments; transportation centers and industrial projects. Over the years, she has led teams nationally and internationally, notably working on iconic CBD properties including John Hancock Center and Willis Tower in Chicago.
Scott was a Partner and Vice President with Boston-based Winthrop Financial Associates from 1984-1992, supervising asset management, leasing, sales, and marketing for national client portfolios from New York to California.
Earlier, Scott was Vice President of property management, leasing and sales at Hawthorn Realty Group, a Chicago investment and development firm. She began her career as a Property Supervisor with Lehndorff USA Management Ltd. in Houston and Chicago.
Scott is a graduate of Stanford University.
